Used for clothes dry cleaning, metal degreasing, and electronic cleaning; it can also be used as a fat extractant, a fur degreaser, and an extractant for natural and synthetic fibers.Used as a raw material for new refrigerants in the production of HCFC-123, HCFC-124, HCFC-125, and HCFC-134a. Used for the production of CFC-113 and hexachloroethane, and can also be used as a common organic solvent.
